In times of conflict, such as the war in Gaza, the volatile situation with Hezbollah in the North, Bnai Zion’s Rehabilitation Center plays a crucial role in providing specialized care for soldiers wounded in action. As the designated Rehabilitation Center for the IDF in the North, Bnai Zion stands at the forefront of healing and rehab for these brave men and women.
Bnai Zion’s rehab is specifically tailored to the unique needs of soldiers wounded in combat. The Rehab programs address a wide range of physical injuries, including orthopedic and spinal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and amputations as well as psychological trauma resulting from the experience of war.
Helping Soldiers Reintegrate Into Civilian Life
This includes vocational training, educational programs, social reintegration activities and psychological counseling for both the soldiers and their families. Initiatives to raise awareness about the needs of wounded soldiers and their families – garners support from the wider community. Bnai Zion honors and recognizes the sacrifices made by the IDF soldiers they care for.
Family-Centered Care Approach
Bnai Zion’s Rehab center adopts a family- centered care approach recognizing that the well-being of injured soldiers is closely intertwined with the support and involvement of their families. The Medical Center actively involves family members in the rehab process providing them with information, resources and support to actively participate in their loved one’s care.
Bnai Zion offers accommodation and support services for families of injured soldiers, including lodging facilities near the rehab center. This allows families to stay close to their loved ones during the rehab process, providing them with the opportunity to offer emotional support, assistance with daily activities and encouragement throughout the recovery journey.
