Home to the north’s only Soldier Rehabilitation Department and new War-Fortified Underground Hospitalization Complex, Bnai Zion serves as a safe haven.

  • Community Involvement

    Following the October 7th attack, Bnai Zion’s kitchen staff prepared meals for IDF soldiers stationed in the North. Many of the medical staff helped offset the loss of farmers on field that were evacuated o enlisted in the army. Bnai Zion picked up slack for those that were enlisted or had to leave the region.

    To be a significant factor in educating the community for a healthy lifestyle: raising awareness of such issues as the importance of exercise, proper nutrition, prevention of smoking, the harmful impact of drugs and alcohol, involvement in the local education system, pa ing special attention to medical and biology majors in area high schools.

Patient experience based on emotional intelligence

The patient experience at Bnai Zion is one of the strengths of the medical center. What sets it apart is the service concept based on soft skills. Empathy, inclusiveness, compassion and humanity are not words that hang on a pretty poster on the wall. They occupy a place of honor in the treatment routine and part of the medical center’s DNA. The nursing and medical teams are also attentive to the emotional aspect, they listen between the lines and it is important for them to get to know the patient beyond his/her medical record.

In the weighted score, based on a survey administered by the Ministry of Health, for the facilities, the quality of care and the treatment the patients receive, the Bnai Zion Medical Center came in first place in Israel with 87% satisfaction among all patients.
